Hydrodynamics Simulations and Analyses of a Fluid Lubricated Screw-Nut Pair

A new method is proposed to solve the hydrodynamics performances of a fluid lubricated screw-nut pair using FLUENT. Before simulations, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model gap flow field built, based on some approximation rules. During dynamic mesh technology employed realize real-time update grids computational domain. For given velocity perturbation, stiffness and damping coefficients system are solved finite difference method, influences perturbations compared among different ranges. With fluid–solid interaction restriction restrictors considered, under loading conditions. more accurate solution for provided, dynamics characteristics after analyzed. On this basis, qualitative quantitative comparison carried out between simplified Reynolds equation in paper, showing latter superiorities illustrating field. general understanding properties conditions obtained through research, providing basis precision control future research.
